Carole Mahoney 

AHO Faith Community Outreach Advisor 

 

Ms. Mahoney has a BA in Economics and a Minor in Russian Language and Literature from Wheaton College, MA. Carole is married with two teenage daughters the ages of AHO youth. Over the years she has served on several school boards and the International Center for Attitudinal Healing in Sausalito, CA. In 2007 she became the faith community outreach advisor for AHO and began assisting Marin County faith communities to engage in AHO’s ministry to youth who are without family support. Carole understands the challenges young people today are struggling with, and is committed to making a difference in their lives. A volunteer and fundraiser for Mill Valley Public Schools for over ten years (including, but not limited to aiding in the classroom, chairing school book fairs, chairing hot lunch programs, directing school talent shows, and serving on different PTA boards), Carole now focuses on general social causes, including volunteering for Siempre Unidos, which provides medical care and counseling for persons with HIV/Aids in Honduras.  Presently, Carole is building a Healing Trips program (“Project Grace”) at the International Center for Attitudinal Healing.  Carole has also been teaching Religious Education at Mount Carmel Parish in Mill Valley off and on for several years. She and her family live in Mill Valley, CA.
